03/20/2007 - Astronomicon development has restarted! More info as development occurs.
01/14/2003 - The latest version of the Astronomicon is being used once again at the University of Georgia. New features in this system include the ability to specify orbits as circular with center offset, or in Keplerian (elliptical) terms, the ability to attach to the surface of a planet at a specific latitude/ longitude/altitude, and a new starfield based off a 10,000 entry star database.
01/28/2002 - (Next Monday) will be the software's second outing, which by then will have record and playback capability allowing students to create "mini movies" showing their progess and the models they have built. The Astronomicon is built on Cybernet Systems Corp.'s proprietary Openskies Engine (www.openskies.net).
01/22/2002 - Version 1.0.0.1 was used for the first time in an Introduction to Astronomy class at the University of Georgia. Assistant Professor Ken Hay said, "Absolutely no crashes or major problems at the first class using the Astronomicon" and that the software captured the students attention.
