OpenSkies
Overview
Under
the OpenSkies Treaty, the United States and other countries promote
open flights over international territory to gather data that is
made available to all treaty signatories.
The
OpenSkies Virtual Environment Training System, developed by Cybernet
with the collaboration of NAWCTSD, JWK International, DMSO, DARPA,
STRICOM, and AFRL, seeks to bring the same benefits to the distributed
simulation and training community.
The OpenSkies system is a PC based training and simulation software
package that brings the military trainer cost effectiveness while
maintaining strict compliance with military distributed simulation
specifications.
