February 20th, 2001 The OpenSkies Network development process reached a milestone last night: 2000+ clients running at once, on only four servers, and the system isn't even breathing hard yet. Supporting more clients is as simple as adding more servers for the OpenSkies Network model, but the achievement of hosting 500+ clients per server will allow OpenSkies to run rather inexpensively in current form, with further optimizations and improvements yet to come.
